Patient communications

Patient SMS Terms

These terms describe patient consent to receive Capri HealthCare Software LLC communications related to appointment reminders, appointment confirmations, secure check-in links, post-appointment surveys, billing notices, and secure payment links or payment reminders.

Effective date: June 10, 2026

By providing a mobile number and verbally opting in with front desk staff, opting in through patient communication preferences, or otherwise consenting to receive communications, patients consent to receive transactional communications from Capri HealthCare Software LLC or from healthcare practices using Capri HealthCare Software LLC's platform regarding appointment reminders, appointment confirmation requests, secure appointment check-in links, post-appointment surveys, billing notices, and secure payment links or payment reminders.

Communications covered by these terms

Communications may be sent by text message, email, phone, or other supported channels. Text messages may include reminders about upcoming appointments, requests to confirm appointments, secure links or instructions for appointment check-in, requests to complete post-appointment surveys, billing notices, and secure payment links or payment reminders.

Consent is not required for treatment

Consent to receive automated text messages is not a condition of receiving healthcare services. Patients may contact their healthcare practice directly to ask about alternative communication methods.

Message frequency and charges

Message frequency varies based on appointment activity, intake status, survey availability, billing or payment reminder status, and communication preferences. Message and data rates may apply.

Opt-out and help

Patients may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP. Patients may also revoke SMS consent by replying STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT, OPTOUT, or REVOKE, or by updating their communication preferences with the healthcare practice. Patients may request help by replying HELP. After opting out, patients may still receive non-SMS communications from their healthcare practice or Capri HealthCare Software LLC where permitted or required.

Verbal opt-in

Patients may opt in verbally with front desk staff when creating an appointment. The verbal SMS consent process and staff script are publicly documented at /patients/sms-consent.

Mobile phone numbers, SMS consent records, and SMS communication preferences are used only to provide and support the communications described in these terms, including appointment reminders, appointment confirmations, secure check-in links, post-appointment surveys, billing notices, secure payment links or payment reminders, opt-out handling, delivery, security, troubleshooting, and legal compliance.

Patient responsibility

Patients are responsible for providing accurate contact information and updating their healthcare practice if their mobile number, email address, or communication preferences change.
