Capri Health started with a simple observation: too much of a practice’s day is spent on work that is necessary, repeating, and far from the exam room. Check-in packets, reminder calls, no-show follow-up, charting, and the phone queue all pull time away from patient care.

Capri was built for a local Virginia practice, and for the mother of one of the cofounders. The second cofounder brings operational experience from a health company that includes sister companies in physical therapy, lab, and primary care.

Capri Basic, Capri Scribe, and Capri Voice exist to automate the tedious and time consuming tasks so that health care providers can focus on doing what they do best: improving patient health outcomes.

We design around the electronic health record practices already use, including Athena, so staff are not asked to recreate the same information in a new system. The goal is less copying, fewer missed steps, and a patient journey that feels coordinated from the first call or click through the visit itself.
